On our second to last day we met up with a bunch of friends at a pub in Dulwich (basically a part of London). Pictured here are Dom and Catherine. Catherine is 4 months pregnant!

 

Lizzie had her first ride on the English rail system.

 

Yet another baby! Here we have our friend Ginny and her son, Monty. Monty is only 6 days older than Lizzie.

 

The last time we saw Pete and Anna, their first son, Matthew, was only 4 months old!. Now they have Matthew AND Albin!

 

My friend, Jo, and I caught up at The Crown in Penn, our old haunt. We definitely miss pubs!

 

Many of our friends have had kids since we left. This is Phil, Becky and their one year old son, Lucas.

 

On our trip we got a chance to visit with friends we hadn't seen in about 3 years. Can I just say that my friend Sarah's hair grows really fast!!! It was sooo great to hang out, I wish she lived closer.

 

We went to England for 10 days starting on Thanksgiving Day. One of the big reasons for the trip was for Lizzie to meet her Great Grandmother who is currently 96.

 

Lizzie started eating solid food on October 11th. It's a very messy process and requires a change of clothing afterwards but she loves eating her rice and oatmeal cereal and her vegetables. So far she has had sweet potatoes, peas and carrots.

Lizzie has a bath every night as part of her bedtime routine. She loves splashing around in the water.

My brother Caleb got married on August 10th!

My mother-in-law, father-in-law and sister-in-law are visiting from England. They are enjoying some warmth and sun after lots of rain and generally yucky weather in England.

Today Lizzie had her first trip to the little beach down the road from our house. As you can see, she has adapted to the beach bum life quite well! She'd also like to thank Auntie Erin and Uncle Sam for the beach cabana that kept her out of the sun and the beach blanket that was nice and soft to sleep on.
