Who could have asked for a better place to camp? We'll probably do it again next year so if you are interested, let me know!

Greg tries to get comfortable in the canoe.

We camped out on a beach by the side of the river on the Saturday night of the canoe trip.

My friend Doug (in the canoe) and his wife Wendy (in the water) arranged a two day canoe trip on the Saco river in NH/ME. We spent two days drifting, swimming, paddling and drinking. We couldn't have asked for better weather as it was sunny with low humidity.

Buffy didn't like having a bath but she enjoyed curling up in her towel.

Greg and I just spent a lovely weekend away in NYC. Here we are with Lilly, my cousin David's kid. We had just finished kayaking (for free!) on the Hudson.

Everyone loves a parade! BTW, the man in the red nightshirt is my high school guidance counselor!

Welcome to the Lawn Chair Drill team at the 4th of July parade.

Bless!

Greg gets patriotic at the 4th of July parade. Doesn't he know they lost?

Lilly and Hana are cousins. They are also the children of my cousins, David and Landis.

Buffy gets festive for the 4th of July only she seems to be confused as she is wearing the Union Jack and not the US flag.

The side of the Snoopy cake is covered in dog bones.

This is a Snoopy cake I made for someone at work. The top was done in royal icing. Underneath the cartoon was a layer of buttercream covering a chocolate fudge cake with a raspberry buttercream filling.
