We had our level 2 ultrasound on January 17th. They checked the baby for any abnormalities and fortunately didn't find any. We saw all four chambers of the heart beating away plus the kidneys, spine, feet, hands and the two sides of the brain. We also got to find out the gender...we are having a girl! Her name is Elizabeth Helena Sly. She was measuring right on track, 19 weeks 3 days (I was 19 weeks 2 days at the time). Her heartbeat was 140 (so much for the old wives tale about slow heartbeats being a boy).
