Here is my growth so far. Starting in the upper left hand corner at 8 weeks, to the right is 12 weeks. Bottom left hand corner is 16 weeks and to the right is 20 weeks.

 

It was REALLY cold this morning. The temperature outside was about 4 degrees farenheit not to mention the wind chill factor. So, we decided that Buffy needed to wear all three of her coats at the same time!

 

Lizzie wasn't really cooperating for her photo shoot. It was hard to get a good profile shot of her. She kept turning away. I wonder if this is a sign of things to come?

 

We had our level 2 ultrasound on January 17th. They checked the baby for any abnormalities and fortunately didn't find any. We saw all four chambers of the heart beating away plus the kidneys, spine, feet, hands and the two sides of the brain. We also got to find out the gender...we are having a girl! Her name is Elizabeth Helena Sly. She was measuring right on track, 19 weeks 3 days (I was 19 weeks 2 days at the time). Her heartbeat was 140 (so much for the old wives tale about slow heartbeats being a boy).

 

I think I married my father!

 

What can I say? I think my mother is getting a bit eccentric!

 

This is my cousin's kid, Lilly. We spent much of Christmas day together. She helped us take the dogs for a walk and she even read us some of her new book.
