Lizzie had her 18 month check up on the January 23rd (ok, she was really 19 months old but there is some flexibility with these appointments). Other than a tantrum when I pulled her away from a toy in the waiting room too soon, she did a great job. She enjoyed running around the room naked as we waited for the Dr. She had two vaccinations, a DTAP and a Hep A. Thankfully these are her last two until she is 4. The Dr. also told me that her development is exceptional. Apparently they only expect children her age to have 10 to 15 words, unlike the many many Lizzie knows and her ability to put 4 words together. Her motor skills are also great! This is what a Mom loves to hear. So, here are her stats:
Weight: 22 lbs 6 oz (16th percentile)
Height: 31 inches (17th percentile)
Head Circumference: 18.5 inches (56th percentile)

Dog Bite
Lizzie was bit by Brandi yesterday evening at my Mom's house. Apparently Lizzie went over to hug/pet/annoy Brandi who was just waking up and Brandi snapped. Nana and Uncle Caleb took Lizzie to the Beverly Hospital emergency room where Mommy met them and later Daddy joined them as well. Thankfully the wounds were shallow and did not require stitches. Although they were around the eye there was no damage to the eye itself.
This morning the eye was swollen and a little bruised so it looks like Lizzie has been beaten up. She slept well last night but was a little cranky this morning. She definitely didn't want her picture taken!

Baby A and Baby B
Baby A is a boy and is currently hanging out on my right side. His placenta is close to my cervix giving me partial placenta previa (again!). He also seems to be the most active.
Baby B is a girl and is currently hanging out on my left side. So far she seems to be a bit more quiet. Here is hoping at least one of our children is laid back because Lizzie certainly isn't!
