Karena and Julian (Chrystel's other two children) enjoy watching Diego and the Jaguar Party while eating Amy's American Chop Suey. Aren't they cute? They were a lot of fun to hang out with as well. I can't commend Chrystel and Blaine enough for what a good job they have done raising their children. I hope I'm as lucky!

 

Justin and I rest comfortably on the couch. I just couldn't put that little guy down.

 

I was fortunate enough to spend the weekend with my friend Chystel, her three children and my friend Amy. Justin is the newest edition to the Smith-Mineault family. He was such a pleasure to hang out with. There is nothing like the feeling of having an infant sleeping on you. I can't wait until it is my own! Justin even gave me the chance to practice changing diapers which I apparently really needed!

 

So, here I am at 28 weeks. This is a horrible picture though! I really shouldn't take them at night when my hair is all messed up from the day.

We got a picture of Lizzie's face. We think she still looks like an alien! :+) Her eyes are closed but they should be opening some time this week.

 

At 27 weeks pregnant we had an ultrasound to check on the location of my placenta. At 17 weeks it was close to my cervix and it seems at 27 weeks it is still close, only a cm away. There is still time for it to move but if it doesn't, I'll probably have to have a c-section. While we were there we got a nice profile shot of Lizzie. She was awake and moving around and we even saw her swallowing. She measured right on track at 27 weeks 1 day and they confirmed that she was a girl.
